Vale held their 2^nd Annual Sportsmans Diner at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium on Saturday night with over 200 guests in attendance. The club would like to thank main sponsor Keith Gibson of KG Bathrooms and Kitchens for his donations as well as other contributors,  Grant Vehicle Repairers, Drampac, Neil Matthews of NAR Plumbing, Morrison & Ritchie Butchers, Tommy Murray of the Glencairn Lounge, Dumbarton, John Boal and Beith Juniors, Graeme Watson of Braid Logistics, Robert Sloan Catering and Dumbarton Football Club.

The evening was hosted by former referee Brian McGinley with speakers Eric Davidson and John Gahagan and once again proved to be a big success. Many former players and managers were in attendance including Jimmy Johnstone, Alan Craig, John Boyd, Jim Liddell, Donald Hunter, Pat McCafferty, John McMurrich, Billy Beckett, John Filshie, George Coll, Willie Howie, Andy Oliver, Paul McGrogan, Michael Dickie, , Bryan Boal, Peter Dennison, Tom Duffy, Gordon Martin, Peter McLean, Iain Lee and Kevin Connor.
